Hello everyone, and welcome to the new videos page. Here is where each of the omega phi videos will be archived and listed for download (The major videos will also show up in the navigation). The videos are uploaded to you-tube and they are featured on this site, and are also available for downloading through the Bit-Torrent file sharing application.
Downloading Videos:
Bit-Torrent is essentially a file sharing program which is run from a program on your computer. It works by linking computers together where seeds (the up-loaders who send information to others) send information to peers (the down-loaders who retrieve information from others), it is possible to be both a seed and peer at the same time. Running the program is safe and efficient for large files, as long as the torrents are downloaded from a trusted source (such as ptkomegaphi.com). In order to allow our videos to be both of a manageable size and good quality a unique codec (a specific way that a file talks to a computer) is used to trans-code (write) a video. If your computer says that it cannot read or play the video file then you probably need the specific codecs. Here is a media package that when installed will give you the necessary programming so that the videos will play properly:
